Rethink Award: Circular Roofing System

In 2023, I received the Rethink Award 2023 from the Dutch Rubber and Plastics Industry (NRK). This is a unique achievement as it is uncommon for a "rubber initiative" to win this prize. The award was granted in response to my clear positioning and proof of EPDM rubber as a circular building material, its high sustainability ranking, and a proven process for the take-back and regeneration of used EPDM into new raw material.

The jury was full of praise, stating that it was:

"An exceptionally innovative solution that aligns seamlessly with the circular economy. It demonstrates a forward-thinking perspective on a future in which raw materials will become increasingly scarce."
