Leaching behavior EPDM unjustly criticized

The strength of working in a trade association is that everyone can complement each other, as long as we are acting in the interest of the greater whole.

At the VESP, we have always accepted that role. Naturally, we are competitors and challenge each other daily in the marketplace, but we also see the mutual added value.

In this specific case, for example, a study from Ghent University was completely taken out of context. Sections of passages were presented in a 'Trumpian' manner and highlighted negatively.

As the Chairman of the PR Committee, I was able to arrange a full-page newspaper article about this topic, including our point of view and substantiation. This immediately removed the sting from the issue, and the value of EPDM remains intact.
